Background and Contact Information.
Thanks to all who have helped and encouraged me in the preparation of these
weather pages over the last few years.
This site was created in Sept 1997 by St Joseph's House of Prayer in an effort to provide farmers in our region with readily understandable weather information in order to try and help them make
good judgements for their properties and livestock in the short and longer term. We had always prayed for farmers especially in times of drought but with the onset of another El Nino that year we wanted to do something practical to help as well.
Since that time many commercial interests have started to provide weather information also but we hope that we continue to provide useful information. We have also moved to Silver Wattle House of Prayer on Lake George near Bungendore.
I would welcome your ideas, suggestions on what is the most useful information, what
else you would like to see, what should be deleted etc. If you have Rural weather
news you think should be included, or you are having trouble accessing links, please let me know.
